Gurshaman is also very actively involved in efforts to transform cancer treatment and care, through influence and awareness.

Previously, in leadership roles at Texas Instruments, including Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Gurshaman enabled industry-leading transition from 200-millimeter to 300-millimeter analog semiconductor manufacturing to improve quality, operational efficiency, and free cash flow. He optimized the supply chain, significantly improving customer satisfaction. He transformed the sales and design processes, creating a worldwide eCommerce platform. He consolidated a fragmented data environment into an enterprise-level function and enabled the company to operate with an integrated commercial posture that doubled the rate of growth. He also executed a comprehensive cyber security strategy, improving risk posture and standard certification scores.

He served as a CFO for 3 high growth technology companies, each culminating in a successful exit for founders and investors. He has directly participated in equity transactions, acquisitions, and integrations, raising close to $100 million in equity and returning over $1 billion in capital to investors.

He was CFO at one company during a period where it remained on the inc 5000 fastest growing companies list for 6 years in a row. Fewer than 1 % of all the companies that have ever been on the list achieve this. 

He also served as a principal investor at a VC firm directly participating in over $45 million in venture capital direct investments and founded one of the nation’s leading MBA level venture capital educational programs (www.venturefellows.org) 

James is committed to helping develop financial leaders. After serving as the chapter president of Financial Executives International (www.financialexecutivesinternational.org) in Arizona and being voted Chapter Leader of the Year he was asked to serve on the national board from 2019-2021 where he helped to lead 50 chapters and over 10,000 CFOs and senior financial executives to advance the field of corporate financial management while navigating the COVID pandemic.

Jignasha has also been a core team member for 14 acquisitions, the lead for a joint venture between Cisco, EMC and VMWare and driven a change of control event for a PE backed company in the software/SaaS space. He has a deep and diverse background with companies ranging from start-ups to industry leaders. He’s worked in technology, IT services, as well as with Fortune 500 companies. Ken has developed robust programs in client advocacy, employee engagement and branding that have elevated both companies and their clients to new heights. He’s a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Classic Civilizations.

My expertise is in advising top executives and boards on how to succeed. I have specialized in cybersecurity and, as a go-to-market guru, have led many companies through successful transformations. In the last 4 years, I’ve been vCISO for hospitals and helped early stage companies with go-to-market strategies.

As a cybersecurity expert, I have seen how the role of a CISO is changing and that it is not just configuring a firewall but communicating business risks to stakeholders. Over the past thirty years, I have been driving meaningful change. All my successes are team successes as we worked together to achieve great things. I am proud of the transformations I led and the mergers and acquisitions that strengthened the companies’ and employees’ lives for the better. Many of those who worked for me have gone on to C-level roles of their own.

Outside of work, you will find me involved with sports and spending time outdoors. I follow the Syracuse Orange and the Texas Longhorns closely. A life highlight for me was having a beer with Paul Newman and listening to stories about fishing with his daughter in Alaska.
